First Conversation
During this first conversation, we’ll provide all the information you’ll need to determine whether or not franchising with Vicious Biscuit is the right fit for you. We’ll also take the time to learn a little more about you, your background, and your goals.
Financial Due Diligence
If we decide to move forward after the first conversation, both you and our franchising team will complete mutual financial due diligence. This will include a background check through a third-party vendor. We know that finances can be a touchy subject, but there’s no need to stress: we’re just making sure you’re in the best position possible to succeed as a Vicious Biscuit franchise owner.
During the financial due diligence process, you’ll receive a copy of our franchise disclosure document (FDD), which you’ll have the opportunity to discuss with us. Ask as many questions as you like – we want you to have all the information you need to make a confident decision.
Meet the Founder
You’ll have the opportunity to chat with our founder during the franchise process. During this call, you’ll have plenty of time to ask them questions about our brand. Getting to know our leadership is a great way to get a better handle on whether Vicious Biscuit is the right place for you.
Discovery Day
The next step of the franchise process is our favorite part: you’ll visit us in South Carolina for Discovery Day. It’s actually two days, but who’s counting? The evening you arrive in Summerville, you’ll visit us for a meet and greet dinner, where you’ll get to know our management team. After dinner, we’ll tour our flagship restaurant in Mt. Pleasant.
When we meet for breakfast next day, you’ll enjoy a menu sampling at our Summerville as well as a store tour. From there, we’ll move through a presentation about each area of our business, then finish up with round-robin interviews and a Q&A session. You’ll leave our headquarters more than ready to spread the revolution to your community!
Join the Revolution
After Discovery Day, we’ll make it official. You’ll sign your franchise agreement and become a full-fledged member of the Vicious Biscuit family!
Select & Build Out Your Restaurant
Once we’ve identified the right territory for you, we’ll get to work selecting a site and building out your restaurant. You’ll work closely with our team throughout the site selection and construction process. Our preferred architects and contractors will make the experience as seamless as possible.
Vicious Training
Before you open, you’ll return to our headquarters in Summerville with your management team for our four-week franchisee training module. Our trainers will also be on hand at your restaurant in the lead-up to opening day, making sure that you and your team have all the resources and support you need to get started on the right foot.
Time to Get Vicious
You made it! Once your restaurant opens, the fun can really start. Throughout the life of your franchise, we’ll make sure that you have the tools you need to build and sustain your Vicious Biscuit location – or locations!
