Let Us Be Your Training Wheels
During your franchisee training, which happens right after you sign your franchise agreement, you’ll get a first-hand look inside our positive culture and the difference it makes. Our trainers are here to make sure you have all the training, resources, and support you need to become your community’s favorite breakfast spot.
Biscuit Basic Training
Although most of our franchisees have prior food service experience, we don’t play by the same rules as most other breakfast and brunch franchises. When you join us for franchisee training at our headquarters in South Carolina, you’ll be immersed in all things Vicious Biscuit.
The biscuit revolution wasn’t built in a day, but we can get you ready to join up in as little as four weeks! During your time with us in Summerville, SC, you and your management team will receive comprehensive training on everything required to successfully operate your Vicious Biscuit franchise.
Our franchisee training course includes a combination of classroom learning and hands-on training. We’ll help you understand everything that goes into the vicious life, including:
- Our confidential operations manual
- Management training
- Equipment training
- Menu item preparation


Back of House, Top of Mind
If you haven’t worked a back of house job before, you might be a little intimidated by having to prepare our menu items. There’s no need to be worried! Our biscuits, shareables, and entrées are simple to make. All you do is follow directions! And since training new team members on our menu is also easy, Vicious Biscuit is a great place for young workers to gain experience and grow.
We’re proud of our culture – it’s an integral part of our recipe for success. Your franchisee training will include comprehensive instruction on Vicious Biscuit’s culture and environment. We’ll even train you in the fine art of Southern hospitality!
Getting Ready to Launch
Training doesn’t end when you leave our headquarters. During the lead-up to your soft opening, our new store opening (NSO) support team will be on hand to help you with hiring, inventory management, and position-specific training. A certified Vicious Biscuit trainer will supervise and manage all franchisee training sessions.
Over the next 10 days, your NSO team will offer continuous support to you and your managers, including identifying areas that need improvement before your franchise opens. We’re committed to helping you hit the ground running.


Once You’ve Opened
When you’re a part of the Vicious Biscuit crew, you’ll never feel alone. Throughout the life of your franchise, you’ll have access to resources, ongoing support, and additional training opportunities. Since we know how important it is to get the vicious word out, we also provide considerable marketing training and support both before and after you open.
